Summer in Highwood is buzzing with energy, celebration, and community spirit. In just the past month, we’ve hosted three ribbon cuttings, spotlighting local entrepreneurs like Amanda Diambri and Orlando Camacho, who teamed up for a creative joint grand opening on Highwood Avenue, and longtime friends Josh Kaplan and Todd Stein, who launched Deere Park with fanfare from both Highwood and Highland Park. Cory Hock of IC Signs & Graphics also opened a new location, marking a meaningful milestone for a business deeply rooted in the community. Highwood’s Father’s Day “Junk in the Trunk” event brought together music, food, and vintage treasures, showing off the city’s quirky charm.
