The Highwood Chamber of Commerce commissioned Emmy-winning filmmaker Mike Leonard to create an 18-minute film celebrating the city’s long-standing businesses and its ongoing transformation. Featuring iconic establishments like Del Rio, Pastificio, Buffo’s, and Poeta’s alongside newer ventures, the film highlights Highwood’s rich traditions and supportive community spirit. It will premiere at the sold-out Annual Dinner + Business Celebration on February 3, with Leonard attending to honor the connections he built during the project.
